The tale we tell is as long as it is complex, it's accuracy, paramount. The souls of many will be judged upon the basis of my testimony. Where I was a witness, I am indeed able testify and I will speak of what I did see. I cannot speak of what I did not see, for that would be hearsay, gossip, the idle and wholly inappropriate chatter of of ill educated women. For guarantee of anonymity, I will permit another to tell of what he saw. We are broadly in agreement in our accounts of this chronicle of tragedy. Without prejudice you are informed of my desire for decorum, the other, you may rely upon for expedience, although a foreigner known to refuse a hearty breakfast. I can divulge the other a stubborn man and I will not tell you who I am.

Maybe it's just blatant marketing, personally I think I'd like to see a big publishing house, with a certain type of author try this. A second edition maybe – similar to a DVD style directors cut or movie out takes

I know my novel had five different endings, deleted chapters etc. There are things I've typed and then thought, 'I can't write that, that's disgusting!' I know personally, I didn't spot that I'd written.

“Yeah, I know you think the Bristols can lead you on to better things, but did you ever wonder how they got so big?”

SHAME !

Changed to:- “Don't get too involved, Claire and her sister warrant further investigation, somebody is pulling their strings.”

Adele West (Delly) always moaning her parents were never there for her. Every time she had a problem, her mother (Natalie) tried to solve it by sending her money. I spotted that one too late, it required too many adjustments. I had to write it back in as an intended irony.

If you missed it (as I originally did) it makes her mother's name Nat West.

Wouldn't you like to see what your favourite author deleted or adjusted, and know why? Wouldn't this make you a better writer?

Come on! Wouldn't you want to have a heart to heart with Terry Pratchet's delete key?
