Blogger's Strike 10/09/2008
 

I'm not really going on strike. I'm just going to cheat. I've declared this week as epiphany and 'Ism week'. So I'll just add little bits as I think of them rather than write a whole new blog.

Appreciate yout thoughts, MS, though am unsure what an "Ism week" is. Are you going to divulge how you came to your conclusion about all "modern writers" and how do you classify them ?
(I am now going to check on Writers Talkback to see if this answers my questions ! :)

As in... sexIsm, racIsm, fatIsm, thinIsm, wideIsm, religiousIsm, blondeIsm, darkIsm, gingerIsm, freckleIsm, fetishIsm, schoolIsm, bookIsm, filmIsm, artIsm, foodIsm.... et al Ism?

Just to let you know my thoughts on Compliments of the Season (whether you want them or not !!)

In my opinion it is very good stuff.. I can almost empathise with it ! (will elaborate if you wish)

Am not sure how it would work as a screenplay/film - think the written form works well to let the reader do the picturing of the characters/scenario themselves. The comparison to the dogs is smart. There are a few bits I would tweak - few grammar points, a few repetitions that aren't necessary, but I LIKE IT !
