Michael Crichton (bless him) generally has the same underlying theme to his stories.
'If only we knew' and 'What have we done.'
Mankind interferes with the balance of things. Realising his error, he tries to correct the problem, and makes things worse. Invariably, it all ends in tears.....
And why not?
An escape shuttle from the doomed planet of Authonomy is scheduled for launch. It only has room for five. The evil business tycoon (Klazart) has bought his seat, and the governor with a split personality (Lord Dunno) has his passage assured. The Goldstar sheriff (Kfran) and her posse conspire to get the beautiful princess (Janet Marie Bill) onto the shuttle. As the princess is about to board the shuttle and the sheriff and posse are about to celebrate, the sheriff realises her best friend (RachelMay Wilson) is going to have to get out. Realising her friend helped her in her hour of need, and the two women go way back, the sheriff has a plan to get her friend onto the shuttle. As an old-man (Pierre) waits patiently for launch day with his bags packed, the menace to society (Michael D. Scott) says "What about the dog?"
To be continued...
